Jimmy’s areas of study and experience include all areas of construction field work including wood and steel construction, concrete construction, carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, electrical rough-in and finish, plumbing, painting, punch list and overall field and project management.
Responsibilities
Jimmy currently manages the construction of the Redtail Mountain development. Work is scheduled around fully functioning golf course operations. The Redtail development includes road and bridge construction and a clubhouse renovation. In addition to removing and replacing a large section of the roof of the existing 18,000 square foot clubhouse, the project also involved adding structural supports, heavy timber framing and stacked stonework throughout.
Achievements
- 2006 NPDES Qualified Person – includes phase II updates.
- 2005 Elected by peers to compete on the 2006 University of North Florida’s construction competition team in Birmingham, AL
- 10 hour OSHA safety certified
- Lift Truck Operator Certification by the National Safety Council
- Served as volunteer leader for Young Life; a Christian ministry for High School students
Project Experience
- First United Methodist Church of Canton - a $3.4 million project which included a sanctuary and educational addition. The facility is a glue-lam and steel structure with a brick veneer.
- Jonesboro First Baptist Church - a $1.1 million church renovation that transformed an existing parking garage into educational and medical space.
- Starr’s Mill Professional Center - a $1.6 million medical office facility located adjacent to protected wetlands.
Multiple Interior Medical Space build-outs ranging from $800,000 to $250,000.
