John brings to Group VI 20 years of management history.  Experienced in corporate and partnership finance including strategic planning, asset management, budgeting, cash management, debt and equity structuring, risk management and human resources. Direct experience in land and property acquisition, site planning and permitting, sales and marketing, construction, and homeowner and condominium management. Industry experience includes single family housing, condominium development, master planned community development, resort and amenity operations, and commercial office.

Relevant Past Experience

CFO - Hampton Island Preserve: Responsible for all financial activity of Hampton Island including debt and equity placement, financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and capital needs. Successfully completed the placement of over $50 million in debt and equity. John provided leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting effort for the Hampton.

Asset Manager - The Hillman Company: Responsible for managing the development and operation of master planned communities including sales and marketing, permitting, construction, financing, budgeting, homeowner associations and planning. Established detailed timetables, schedules and financial and operational checkpoints to ensure  cost overruns and saving issues where identified.

Manager, Operational Review - The Hillman Company: Responsible for all facets of due diligence for the strategic acquisition and disposition of real estate assets including the determination of real estate economics, permitting, cost, capital, debt, and financial assumptions. Managed all facets of the transaction including legal documentation, deal structure, various consultants, valuation, and closing.

Participated in the acquisition disposition of over $1 billion in real estate transactions.
