Rick has over 24 years of progressive management experience in the construction industry. He holds several General Contractor licenses throughout the Southeast. Rick has a unique understanding for preliminary pricing because of his years of hands-on Project Management experience and understands the issues facing both the client and the contractor in all phases of the development and the construction process.

Responsibilities

Responsible for project coordination with the client and the internal resources of Group VI. Job duties include preliminary budgeting and pricing, including evaluating construction sites for the client including site planning, facilitating zonings and variances with local municipalities, evaluating and coordinating availability of utilities and utility easements, and the preparation and presentation of construction estimates for client and client’s lender.
Relevant Past Experience

Senior Vice President, Construction Administration – Group VI Corporation:
Responsible for construction bids and cost estimation.  He supervised project managers and coordinated construction related activities between the client, Group VI management, subcontractors, architects and government officials.

Vice President, Field Operations - BEvans Enterprises: Built restaurants and other franchise facilities in 20 states throughout the southern and mid-western United States.  Supervised quality control, hired superintendents and monitored client project schedules.  Clients included Applebee's, Bank America, Cracker Barrel, Longhorn, Rio Bravo, Chick-fil-A and Firestone. Acquired partnership in 1997 in this highly successful company.
